I(Tina Valdez) have always wanted to see things outside of Texas. I have always had a passion for travel. There are so many things to experience and I love to share them with those that enjoy traveling as well. When I met my husband Eloy I made sure we were going to travel somewhere far a few times. Eloy and I went on our first cruise to the Bahamas on our honeymoon and to Walt Disney World. My husband and I traveled again to Cozumel and Cancun on our 1st Anniversary.
The memories that are created are ones we will never forget.
While working in the corporate world I got a taste of working with corporate travel for employees. I enjoyed the people that I met and worked with throughout the US while making customer service a priority of mine. I have always wanted to travel more but we had to wait until our two children got older. We took them on their first big trip up the East Coast with a tour group. We visited New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Niagara Falls, Pennsylvania, and Boston. What a history trip that was. The kids couldn't stop talking about the places we went and the people that we met that were on our tour. We have also traveled to some of the other major U.S. cities. My family does most everything together. We like to experience new things and travel is one of them.
I have also had the pleasure of working in a school district and had the opportunity to go to Paris prior to leading a student group to Costa Rica during the summer of 2009. We got to zip line through the rain forest, did some white water rafting, visited the hot springs, visited volcanoes, and ate some great home grown food. I would recommend Costa Rica to everyone. After taking this trip it sparked my interest in traveling even more. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to help lead another student group to Italy spring break of 2011. The knowledge the students gained from traveling abroad is something they will be able to keep with them for the rest of their lives. For some students this may be the only trip out of the U.S. that they get to take. My families’ interest in traveling has continued to grow as the kids have gotten older.
My interest in traveling and seeing the world is what convinced me that I need to be a travel advisor. The passion of helping people make their dream trips a reality is something I enjoy doing. I continue to broaden my knowledge with every place I travel as well as with places my clients travel to. I am knowledgeable and experienced with group travels such as family vacations/reunions, student travel groups, and romance travel to bring couples, families and friends closer together during their special times. This can be on a cruise or a destination you desire. Travel offers great experiences! Let me help you with your next vacation. It is all about the memories and experience!
